Modo Yoga is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. It’s a supportive community, a kick-ass workout, and a calming meditation all in one! I leave every class feeling both relaxed and energized, and more able to take on whatever comes my way.
This 4 week Kids Yoga Program is a time for both movement and relaxation. Sometimes we need to be expressive and get our sillies out. Other times we need to sit with ourselves and be calm. Having worked as a teacher and support worker for children, Jess’ program inspires a use of focus, listening skills and body awareness. These classes are the perfect mixture of proper alignment, breath, games, music, and animal noises. Age group: 6-10 years old.SIGN UP
Join us for this delicious blend of movement. The practice will start with a yang based flow intent on core activation to help centre your asana. This portion of the practice will play with concepts of containment, grounding, balance and subtle strength. We will then slow things down to a yin based practice with focus on organic movement, mindful release and restorative breath.SIGN UP

Life is suffering. We experience stress and trauma long before we’re born and well into adulthood. The body cannot be in a state of stress if it is relaxed; a way to unwind the stored tension is through pranayama, strengthening and stretching your psoas muscles and simply shaking it off. Practice a sequence to target the psoas muscles followed by guided shaking to release years of stored trauma and stress.SIGN UP
We invite you to connect the Sun, Moon & Earth for the Spring Equinox by moving through 108 Sun Salutations. On the day of the equinox the Sun shines directly on the equator and the length of day and night is nearly equal. The Spring Equinox marks the moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator – the imaginary line in the sky above the Earths equator – from south to north.
There is said to be a total of 108 energy lines converging to and from the heart chakra. The significance to the number 108 dates back to ancient yogic teachings, breathe and move while connecting to all 108 sacred places in the body. There will be modifications available at all times as this class is accessible for everyone and will led by several of our teachers. Reduced heat.
