Modo Yoga is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. It’s a supportive community, a kick-ass workout, and a calming meditation all in one! I leave every class feeling both relaxed and energized, and more able to take on whatever comes my way.
Join us for our 8th Annual Yoga in the Park Fundraiser on Sunday September 8th at Thornhill Green Park (Bathurst Street & Beverley Glen Blvd).
We have two incredible instructors leading each class with awesome musical talent to accompany them. There will also be some amazing vendors, henna & flash tattoos available, snacks & refreshments and more. Registration will begin at 10:00am and the first 50 people to arrive will receive a swag bag.
We will start the day will a Modo Flow class at 11:00am led by Paria with drumming by Sophia Bittar, followed by a Modo class at 12:30pm led by Amanda with Emily McCullogh singing and playing guitar.
$20 minimum donation per person to attend this event (can participate in one or both classes). This year we will be raising funds for Hospice Vaughan.
Purchase your tickets at the front desk, from any of our staff or teachers or on the day of our event at the park.
This 4 week Kids Yoga Program is a time for both movement and relaxation. Sometimes we need to be expressive and get our sillies out. Other times we need to sit with ourselves and be calm. Having worked as a teacher and support worker for children, Jess’ program inspires a use of focus, listening skills and body awareness. These classes are the perfect mixture of proper alignment, breath, games, music, and animal noises. Age group: 6-10 years old.
Our teacher training is for anyone who is looking to deepen and expand their yoga practice, live and learn in community, have tons of fun and become a 500 hour certified yoga teacher.
Join a community of leaders seeking to create and facilitate positive change in the world, on and off the mat.
Inspired by our Be Accessible Pillar, our Energy Exchange program gives students the opportunity to deepen their yoga practice, regardless of their financial situation.
Energy Exchangers (EE’s) are an integral part of our studio family – their passion and dedication is what makes our community so special. In exchange for working one 3 hour shift per week cleaning the studio, EE’s will receive unlimited yoga and lots of other perks!
